Complete Guide to Cloud WhatsApp Status Posting
February 17, 2026 · 7 min read
Whether you're a marketer reaching thousands of contacts or a WhatsApp TV operator posting ads all day, WASBOT gives you two ways to post status: from the dashboard or directly from WhatsApp. This guide covers both, plus everything about fonts, colors, delivery, deletion, and cross-posting.
Posting Text Status
From the Dashboard
Go to the Status tab, type your message, choose a font and background color, then click Post Status. You can preview exactly how your status will look to recipients before posting — no guesswork.
From WhatsApp
Send yourself the command:
status Your message here
That's it. WASBOT picks up the command and posts it as a text status to your contacts from the cloud.
Posting Image and Video Status
From the Dashboard
Go to the Status tab, click Upload Media, select an image or video, add an optional caption, then click Post Status. HD media is supported on all plans — your images and videos go out in full quality.
From WhatsApp
Send the image or video to yourself, then reply to it with:
status Optional caption here
Or just status with no caption if you want media-only. WASBOT detects the media from the replied message and posts it as your status.
Font and Color Customization
WASBOT supports 9 fonts and 15 background colors for text statuses. You can pick a combination every time you post, or set a preset so every text status automatically uses your brand styling — no need to select fonts and colors each time.
See our status customization guide for the full font and color list with visual previews.
Coming Soon: Custom color pickers for font and background color. Match your WhatsApp status to your exact brand colors.
How Status Delivery Works
WASBOT posts status from the cloud — your phone isn't involved. Here's what happens:
- You compose and post from the dashboard or WhatsApp command
- WASBOT encrypts and uploads the status to WhatsApp's servers
- Delivery happens in batches of ~5,000 contacts
- 10,000 contacts receive the status in about 10 seconds — 50K+ in under a minute
Your phone doesn't heat up, battery isn't drained, and delivery is 100% — unlike phone-based posting that often only reaches ~50% of contacts. If you've been buying expensive phones to keep up with status posting, those days are over.
Recipient Limits by Plan
| Plan | Recipients per Post | Posts per Day |
|---|---|---|
| Trial | 1,000 | 5 |
| Basic | 10,000 | 15 |
| Premium | 35,000 | 50 |
| Pro | Unlimited | Unlimited |
Status Deletion
Available on Premium and above only.
From the Dashboard
Go to the Status tab, view your active statuses, then click the delete icon next to any status. Use Delete All to clear everything at once.
From WhatsApp
delete status 1
Delete by index — use list status to see your active statuses with their indices. To delete everything:
delete status all
Why Can't Lower Tiers Delete?
When your contacts exceed your tier's recipient limit, WASBOT sends each status to a random subset of contacts. Since the audience is different for every post, a deletion can't guarantee it reaches everyone who saw the original. Deletion is restricted to Premium and above, where limits are high enough to cover most or all contacts.
Cross-Posting (Pro Only)
On the Pro plan with multiple WhatsApp sessions, you can post the same status across all connected numbers from one dashboard. One click sends to all your sessions — no copy-pasting between accounts, no juggling multiple phones.
If you're running multiple WhatsApp TVs, this is the feature that saves you the most time. Compose once, post to all.
Queue Management
If you've queued multiple statuses and need to cancel some or all of them:
From the Dashboard
Go to the Status tab, view the queue, and cancel any pending items individually.
