Complete WASBOT WhatsApp Automation Commands Reference

WASBOT is controlled through simple text commands sent to your WhatsApp session. This is the complete reference for every available command — syntax, examples, and what each one does.

Status Commands

Post a Text Status

status <your message>

Posts a styled text status to your contacts. Font and color are determined by your active preset (or random if no preset is set).

Examples:

status Good morning! New deals dropping today
status Check out our latest collection: https://yourstore.com

Text statuses support up to 4,096 characters. URLs automatically generate link previews.

Post a Media Status

Send an image, video, or voice note to your WASBOT session, then:

status <optional caption>

Or simply send media with "status" as the caption. The media is posted as a status update to your contacts.

Set Status Preset (Font & Color)

status preset <font>,<color>

Locks in a specific font (1-9) and background color (1-15) for all future text statuses.

Examples:

status preset 6,14    (Calistoga font, Navy background)
status preset 4,13    (Bold font, Black background)
status preset 9,15    (Random font, Random color)

Send status preset with no arguments to see all available fonts and colors.

List Active Statuses

list status

Shows all your currently active status messages with their index numbers and timestamps.

Delete a Status

delete status <index>
delete status all

Remove a specific status by its index number, or delete all active statuses. Available on Premium plans and above.

Group Commands

Sync Groups

groups

Fetches and displays all your WhatsApp groups with index numbers and member counts. Groups are shown in two sections: all groups (for text messages) and admin groups (for tagging).

Group indices are cached for 5 minutes. Re-run groups to refresh if your list changes.

Send Text to Groups

text <indices> <message>

Index formats:

text 1 Hello!                      (single group)
text 1,3,5 Check this out          (specific groups)
text 1-5 Good morning              (range of groups)
text all Store hours updated       (every group)

With media: Reply to any image/video and type text 1,2,3 Caption here

Tag All Members in Groups

tag <indices> <message>

Mentions every member in the specified groups. Only works in groups where you are an admin.

Index formats: Same as text — individual, comma-separated, ranges, or all.

tag all Meeting at 5 PM today

With media: Reply to any image/video and type tag 1,2 Caption here

Contact Commands

Check Contact Stats

contact stats

Shows your current contact counts: total saved, active on WhatsApp, and inactive.

Detect Unsaved Contacts

get unsaved

Scans your chat history and identifies contacts that aren't saved yet. Returns a count of unsaved contacts (with names and without names) and prompts you to confirm bulk saving.

After detection, reply with yes to save all detected contacts or no to cancel.

Toggle Contact Auto-Save

contact saving status

Enable or disable automatic saving of new contacts from incoming messages. Check the current setting with status.

Import Contacts

Send a CSV or VCF file to your WASBOT session, then:

Processes the file and imports contacts. Available on Premium plans and above.

Privacy & Settings Commands

Do Not Disturb (Call Blocking)

Block all incoming WhatsApp calls silently. Callers see a "missed call" notification. Messages, groups, and status are unaffected.

Status Reshare Control

reshare status

Control whether viewers can reshare your status updates to their own stories. Applies to all future posts.

Daily Limits

Most commands have daily limits based on your plan:

Status posts	5	15	50	Unlimited
Group messages	5	100	500	Unlimited
Group tags	5	100	500	Unlimited

Limits reset daily at midnight. You'll get a message if you hit your limit for the day.

Tips

• Commands are case-insensitive — STATUS, Status, and status all work
• Indices cache for 5 minutes — re-sync groups if you get stale results
• Media commands use captions or replies — send media with the command as the caption, or reply to existing media with the command
• One operation at a time — group sends are serialized to protect your account from bans
