WhatsApp Bulk Messaging: Send to All Groups at Once
February 16, 2026 · 5 min read
If you manage multiple WhatsApp groups — for your business, community, or WhatsApp TV — you know the drill. Copy message. Open group. Paste. Send. Open next group. Paste. Send. Repeat 30 times.
WASBOT lets you send one message to every group at once, straight from the cloud.
How Group Messaging Works
Once your WhatsApp is connected to WASBOT, you can send text, images, and videos to multiple groups using simple index-based commands.
Step 1: Sync Your Groups
First, sync your group list. You can do this from the Groups page in the dashboard or by sending the groups command in WhatsApp.
WASBOT fetches all your groups and assigns each one a number (index). You'll see something like:
1. Family Group (8 members)
2. Marketing Team (45 members)
3. Pot TV Subscribers (312 members)
4. Customer Support (23 members)
Admin groups are listed separately — this matters for tagging (more on that below).
Step 2: Send to Groups by Index
Use the text command followed by group numbers and your message:
Send to specific groups:
text 1,3,5 Check out our new collection!
Send to a range:
text 1-5 Good morning everyone!
Send to all groups:
text all Updated store hours — now open Sundays!
Step 3: Send Media to Groups
Want to send an image or video? Reply to any media in your chat with a text command:
- Send or forward the image/video to yourself
- Reply to it with:
text 1,2,3 Here's the new flyer! - The media + caption gets sent to groups 1, 2, and 3
This works with images, videos, and GIFs.
Tagging All Members (@all Mentions)
Regular messages in WhatsApp groups are easy to miss. The tag command mentions every member in the group — so they all get a notification.
tag 1,2 Important announcement — please read!
This tags (mentions) every participant in groups 1 and 2 individually. It works the same as the text command — you can use individual indices, ranges, or all:
tag 1-3 Meeting at 5 PM today
tag all Please review the updated terms
Important: Tagging requires admin privileges. You can only use tag in groups where you're an admin. WASBOT automatically detects your admin status and shows admin groups separately in the groups list.
You can also tag with media — reply to an image/video with a tag command to send it with @mentions.
Daily Limits
Group messaging has daily limits based on your subscription tier:
| Plan | Group Messages/Day | Tagged Messages/Day |
|---|---|---|
| Trial (7 days) | 5 | 5 |
| Basic | 100 | 100 |
| Premium | 500 | 500 |
| Pro | Unlimited | Unlimited |
Each group you send to counts as one against your daily limit. So sending to 3 groups uses 3 of your daily allowance. Limits reset at midnight.
How It Works Under the Hood
When you send a group message through WASBOT:
- Your message is queued on WASBOT's cloud servers
- Each group receives the message sequentially (to avoid WhatsApp bans)
- Only one group operation runs at a time per session — this keeps your account safe
- You get real-time feedback showing which groups received the message successfully
The 5-minute group cache ensures your group numbers stay consistent while you're working. If you haven't synced in a while, WASBOT will ask you to refresh before sending.
