WhatsApp DND Mode: Block Calls Without Blocking Messages

If you run a business WhatsApp number, you know the problem: customers, leads, and random contacts call you all day. You can't turn off calls in WhatsApp without going offline entirely. And every call interrupts your workflow.

WASBOT's DND (Do Not Disturb) mode solves this. It silently rejects every incoming WhatsApp call while keeping your messages, groups, and status completely unaffected.

How DND Mode Works

When you enable DND, WASBOT intercepts incoming call signals at the cloud level and rejects them automatically. The caller sees a "missed call" notification — as if you declined the call manually. They don't know DND is active.

What happens with DND on:

Incoming calls are silently rejected — the caller sees "missed call"
Messages, groups, status, and everything else work normally
No notification on your end — calls are blocked before they reach you

What happens with DND off:

Calls ring through normally (standard WhatsApp behavior)

Enabling DND Mode

From the Dashboard

Go to the Contacts page and find the Session Contact Settings section. Each session has a Block Calls toggle — flip it on to enable DND. The toggle shows the current state and changes take effect immediately.

From WhatsApp

Send these commands to yourself:

Turn on:

dnd on

Turn off:

dnd off

Check current status:

dnd status

That's it. One command or one toggle, and it's done.
